The headphones have an ID of BeatsStudioPro1,1 and the model number A2924. The Beats Studio3 over-ear headphones, which are several years old at this point, will be replaced by the new Beats Studio Pro.
Software code suggested that Samuel Ross of A-Cold-Wall, who recently joined Beats as a “principal design consultant,” would collaborate on the production of the Beats Studio Pro headphones. Although Apple is likely to make internal improvements to justify the “Pro” moniker, the design appears to be largely identical to that of the Beats Studio3 headphones.
An improved Active Noise Cancellation and a Transparency Mode are two potential additions to the headphones’ chip, which may have been redesigned by Apple. Additionally, Apple intends to include support for “Hey Siri,” a feature that is currently absent from the Studio3 headphones.
The Beats Studio Pro headphones are anticipated to be available later this summer; FCC information typically becomes available a few weeks to a month prior to the product’s launch.
